Meet the Doctors
Ryan H. Yim, DDS
Dr. Yim was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up in a family of health care professionals and found his passion for dentistry through annual dental check-ups with his uncle, who is a pediatric dentist. After attending Iolani School, Dr. Yim moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Crieghton University.

Allison P. Tran, DDS
Dr. Allison P. Tran received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Kansas, and then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004 from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She taught general dentistry at the school and went into private practice for two years before entering a periodontic residency program at the same institution and graduating in 2008 with her Certificate in Periodontics.

Edmund A. Cassella, DMD
Having just commemorated the 25th anniversary in his Ala Moana office on Nov. 12, 2019, Dr. Edmund Cassella has more than 35 years of experience treating patients with periodontal (gum) issues. Although dental implants are part of his practice, his primary focus continues to be helping patients keep their teeth & maintain health through the treatment of periodontal diseases and the repair of bone and loss and gum recession.

They are all active members of the Hawaii Dental Association, the Honolulu County Dental Society, the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Periodontology.
